PILGRIMS PROJECT IN 1º DE BAC B.

CHEGOU A PRIMAVEIRA E O NOSO PROGRAMA “PILGRIMS PROJECT”, UN ANO MÁIS, COMEZA A DAR OS SEUS FROITOS.

NIN QUE DICIR TEN QUE AGRADECEMOS OS PELEGRINS QUE SE ACHEGAN Ó INSTITUTO A SÚA VISITA E  DESEXÁMOSLLES UNHA FELIZ ESTANZA EN GALICIA.

ESTAS SON AS PRIMEIRAS VISITAS DO CURSO 2008-2009, E QUEREMOS COMPARTILAS CON TODA A COMUNIDADE “BLOGUEIRA”.

ALANA

She was the first pilgrim to visit us this year. She was with the students of 1^st BAC “B”. She had phoned the day before her visit, so the students were excited and looked forward to it.

She was an American girl who lived in San Francisco although her parents lived in Boston. Alana explained the students the difference between the East and the West coast of the States.

The students made her questions about her life, the reasons why she had chosen to do the “Camino” – some friends had told her about it and she was enjoying the experience of travelling alone and meeting so many people from different places- and about her trips, which were very interesting since Alana has travelled all over the world.

The pilgrim also made questions to the students about their interests, their daily life and their prospects in life.

The experience was very enjoyable and the students are looking forward to another visit.

“Alana is a pilgrim who visited our school. She lives in the USA. She told us she was doing the Camino because she wanted to meet a lot of people. She was very nice”. Andrea and Joli.

“I think she was a good visit. She answered many questions and gave us information about English and the USA. The School needs more visits from pilgrims”. Damian.

“A boy from our class was in love with Alana. He said that she was very beautiful and very sexy and he wanted to marry her”…

KIRIE.

The second pilgrim who has visited us this year is an Australian woman called Kirie. She told the children that she had been to Spain three times but this time, doing the trail, she is enjoying the most. She also told the students that she finds spiritual peace doing the way and told them about Australia and what young people do there.

LIDYA.

She was the third pilgrim who has visited us and she visited the same course as Kirie, 4^th year of PDC. She is an old Irish woman who lives in Kerries (a Viking word for “Rock”) about 10 km from Dublin. She advised the students to go to Ireland and live with an Irish family to learn English. She was asking questions to the students and telling them about her life and experience. She said that Galicia is the most beautiful area she had seen in Spain. She asked them about future plans and told them that the “Camino” was for her an interior way.
